While my friend and I were finding a place to sit and work in Central Rama 9, we accidentally saw Doi Chaang Coffee Café.
Frankly, the reason we chose this coffee café because it was quiet enough to work and the café also provided customers free WI-FI. The café was not big; there were about 10 tables. It was decorated nicely.
We first went to the counter to order the drink first.
The café did not sell only coffee, but they also sell cakes and bean coffee.
I ordered a cup of hot milk (65 baht).
My friend ordered green tea latte (95 baht).
So, we both did not order any coffee.
I did not set any expectation for the drink because I just wanted to sit and work. Well, after the first sip, I was really surprised. The hot milk was really creamy and tasty. I really liked it. My friend also liked his drink. About the price, for me, it was a little bit higher than other coffee café, but the taste was so great. We worked there for a couple of hours. It was a coffee café and I plan to revisit. Next time I would try coffee there.
Update: March, 2016
Location: Currently this cafe has several branches in shopping malls in Bangkok. I have seen it at Gateway Ekamai, but the photos above were taken at Central Rama 9. Both branches can be reached by rapid transportation systems like BTS Skytrain and MRT Subway.
Price: Around 100 baht per person. Well, depending on what you order.
Opening Hours: Since they are located in the shopping malls, it should opens daily from 10.00 to 22.00
