Last weekend after a long shopping spree around Siam Square, I decided to find something to eat at Siam Square One. After skimming over the menus in front of the restaurants, I chose I am Thai Pasta. I’m a noodle and pasta lover, and the prices here are not expensive comparing to other restaurants around.
I am Thai Pasta is a restaurant which offer several pasta dishes in Thai style (They also have Italian style). I love the atmosphere inside the restaurant. I went there on Saturday and was a bit surprised that the restaurant was not crowded.
The menu was waiting for me on the table. There are 3 languages in the menu (Thai, English, and I guessed Chinese). The prices that you see in the menu were already included VAT and no service charge. So, you don’t have to pay more than this!
Actually I wanted to order more than one dish, but I was afraid that I could not finish them all. So, I chose what I wanted to try most which was Soup Spaghetti Tom Yum Goong. Tom Yum is a Thai spicy and sour soup which is popular around the world and I recommend you to try it at least once when you are in Thailand.
There were 3 spicy levels and I chose level 2. For me, the level 2 was not so spicy. However, if you are not familiar with hot and spicy food, I recommend you to choose level 1. The taste was full-flavored and made me want to try the other dishes. If you are finding a restaurant that is not so expensive and offers delicious food around Siam Square, I recommend this one.
Update: September, 2015
Location & How to get there: The restaurant is located at Siam Square One, the shopping mall that can be reached by BTS. The restaurant is located at the fifth floor, summer zone.
