MOF or Marketing Organization for Farmers is the upscale fresh market in Bangkok. Many people call it Or Tor Kor Market. At this market you can expect high quality food.
I have heard about this market many times, but I just had a chance to visit it last weekend. The market was quite big and I believed that it was the cleanest wet market in Bangkok, or even in Thailand. There were many fruit stalls. Most of the fruit selling here looked great in size, color, and texture.
Besides raw food, cooked food also looked good. You could see that it was different from other markets in Bangkok.
Dry food and local kitchen utensils could be found here too.
Little corner of the market was dedicated to women’s clothing.
And there was a food court where you can buy the food and eat.
Don’t worry about how to order the food. Many stalls provide English language in their menus; and some stalls provide Chinese language.
My friend and I chose to eat Mussel Omelette (50 baht), Oyster Omelette (50 baht) and Pork Satay (60 baht).
The Omelette was very yummy. It was crispy and tasty.I recommend you to try when visiting Or Tor Kor.
All in all, This market was really good. It was clean and sold quality food. If you are finding the best quality food, I recommend you to go to this market. Well, please bear in mind that the price was, of course, not cheap. It was more expensive than other markets in Bangkok.
