The Platinum Fashion Mall and Pratunam Market are the popular shopping places that are located in Pratunam District, Bangkok. The Platinum Fashion Mall is an indoor shopping mall, while Pratunam Market is an outdoor market. Both of them offer many shops selling cheap clothing, shoes, handbags, accessories, and so on.
Chatuchak Weekend Market is the biggest outdoor market in Thailand. You can expect to see 15,000 stalls selling fashion items, furniture, books, artworks, handicraft, and more!
If you want to know how to get from Platinum/Pratunam to Chatuchak, you have come to the right place. In this post I will share you how to travel between these two places.
At first, you should know that Platinum or Pratunam are not connected to BTS Skytrain or MRT Subway, while Chatuchak connects with both BTS Skytrain and MRT Subway. So, it is not that convenient to travel between these two places and here is my recommendation.
You can take taxi to anywhere in Bangkok and the fare is quite cheap comparing to other big cities around the world. It would take you around half an hour depending on the traffic situation. If you come in group, taking taxi might be cheaper. However, you might have to spend time with the traffic chaos.
Foot + BTS Skytrain
Since Platinum or Pratunam are not connected to BTS Skytrain, you have to the nearest BTS stations. The nearest ones are Chidlom Station and Ratchathewi Station. Either of them takes around 15 minutes, if you start from Platinum. I recommend you to walk to Ratchathewi Station because this station is closer to Chatuchak BTS Station.
Hope the information helps.
