Siam Square is a shopping and eating area in Pathumwan District, Bangkok. While walking there, you will see many Thai teenagers, university students, office workers, and tourists. Siam Square also connects with several shopping malls such as MBK Center, Siam Square One, Siam Paragon, and so on. It becomes one of the popular places to stay when visiting Bangkok.
Suvarnabhumi Airport currently is the main airport of Bangkok, but it actually is located in Samut Prakan Province.
In this post, I will share you how to get from Siam Square to Suvarnabhumi Airport.
BTS Skytrain + Airport Rail Link
Actually it is quite easy to travel between these two places. Siam Square connects with BTS Skytrain. From there, take BTS Skytrain to Phaya Thai Station. This station is an interchange station where you can take airport rail link to Suvarnabhumi Airport. With this option, you will not get caught in the traffic chaos.
Taxi is recommended if you have big luggages or travel bags. The distance between these two places is about 30 kilometers and it would take around 40-50 minutes or more depending on the traffic. If you travel during peak hours, I do recommend you to go early. So, you will not miss the flight.
Happy traveling Bangkok!
