Hi Wannee! I’m Ming from Malaysia. Me and my friends plan to visit Bangkok next year during the Songkran festival. My friends and I are very excited to join the big festival in Thailand but was wondering will there be any shops open during that time of the year if we plan to go for a shopping trip as well ? Let me put it clear, we are planning to visit Bangkok next year on 11.12.13 of April. So its on the eve of Songkran, are the shops open ? The shops we meant are like the night market and also the shopping mall where we can shops for clothes for boys and girls.I really need some advice, if I may, this is my LINE id looisdestiny , whatsapp 0102885470 and my instagram and ffb is the same name as my LINE id. I’m looking forward for your reply, Thanks 🙂 Have a nice day ahead.

If you’re going to be out and about during Songkran it is best not too carry anything that can be damaged by water as you will get very wet whether you want to or not! Dress in light clothes that dry easily. Carry cash but leave the wallet/purse with all it’s other contents at home or in the hotel. Leave any other valuables inside as well. Mobile phone? I’d place it inside two zip lock plastic bags and then put it in your pocket. Don’t take it out unless you are inside a building. Have fun and don’t take things too seriously!
