June has just passed and now I am writing this post to tell you how the weather in Bangkok, Thailand was in June 2015. You can use it as a reference to plan your trip, if you are going to visit Bangkok in June.
As you may know, June is in rainy season. As a local I expected the rain, not-so-hot weather, and the inconvenient commuting in the city especially during rush hours.
This year, as expected, June was not very hot like April or May. During the month, the weather was not too bad (not too hot), but the rain sometimes made me feel uncomfortable to go outside. Many times it rains in the morning and in the evening, so people were stuck in the traffic jam. This year it did not rain much, but there were floods in some areas in Bangkok.
For a visitor who plans to wander around Bangkok in June, my recommendation is to prepare an umbrella or a raincoat with you. The tropical rain is falling hard and powerful. However, the temperature does not drop much. No need for thick clothing. Prepare light-weight clothing; even if it rains, it is not cold.
Enjoy traveling Bangkok!
