Today is the last day of September. I am writing this post so as to tell you how the weather in Bangkok, Thailand in September 2016 was. If you are my regular reader, you might notice that I have been reporting the weather in Bangkok for almost one year and a half. I am writing this because I do believe that this weather information is useful for a traveler who is planning to travel to a country.
September is in rainy season in Thailand. I expected to see the rain and also feel the comfortable weather.
In September 2016, the weather was similar to last month, August 2016. It rained about three times a week and rained in the morning and evening which made it difficult to commute to work. The temperature was still up to 30 degrees Celsius. In September, there were days that it rained all day long starting from about 4 am and ended around 5.00 pm.
Of course, the traffic became worse and there was flood in some areas in Bangkok. For the visitor who plan to visit Bangkok in September, it is great to bring an umbrella and a raincoat with you. Besides, having a flexible plan would be a great choice. For example, choose an indoor activities such as shopping instead of going outside, or visiting a place that can be reached by either BTS or MRT instead of spending time on a road.
Enjoy traveling Bangkok!
