Visiting temple is one of the activities you should do when you are in Thailand. For me, Wat Phra Kaew is the most beautiful temple in Bangkok. It is located in the grand palace. Both of them are Bangkok’s major attractions. The admission fee might be a little bit expensive, but believe me it is worth it. Vimanmek Mansion is a former Royal Palace which is built from golden teakwood. There are 72 rooms in the building. Each room displays King Rama V’s photographs and handicrafts. The ticket to enter Wat Phra Kaew and the Grand Palace includes entry to Vimanmek.

If you love shopping and bargain, Chatuchak is your place. It is the biggest market in Thailand. You can find almost everything that you want here. If you feel like Chatuchak is too big for you and what you want to buy is only clothes, shoes, handbags, and accessories, go to Platinum Fashion Mall. Visiting floating market is one of the must-do activities when you are in Bangkok. Actually there are many floating market in Bangkok and around. Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is the most popular one. It is located in Ratchaburi province; it takes around 2 hours drive from Bangkok. You can read more detail about this floating market here.

Well, if you do not have much time, I would like to recommend you another floating market named Taling Chan Floating Market. This market is located in Bangkok. It is smaller than Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, but you still can get the experience of floating market.
