A review of Chi Lin Nunnery and Nan Lian Garden @ Hong Kong

While doing research for places to visit in Hong Kong, I stumbled upon a classic garden named Nan Lian Garden. Because of its natural beautiful scenes, I then added it in my itinerary.

After stepping into the garden I felt fresh air upon my face. The garden was full with tree and timber structures such as pavilions, terraces, bridges, and so on.

I did not walk through the whole garden. Just went to the most beautiful timber structures in the garden which was the pavilion that was situated in the Lotus Pond.

I loved the colors of pavilion and also the bridges which were situated in the lush trees.

Nan Lian garden is connected to Chi Lin Nunnery, a large temple consisting of elegant wooden architecure and lotus ponds, to its north. I walked from garden to the temple.

When I was there, it was quiet and not crowded. May be the garden and the temple were not a popular place for tourists in Hong Kong. However, I did love both the garden and the temple. I highly recommend visitors who love nature and tranquil place to visit this place.
