Evaime Shabu Shabu is a shabu-shabu restaurant in Taiwan style. Because my mother and I love eating Sukiyaki and Shabu Shabu, one day we decided to try this restaurant. After that it became one of our favorite restaurants. So, Today I am going to review this restaurant.
When entering the restaurant, first of all we had to choose the styles of serving food. It can be either a la carte or buffet. For me, I usually chose a la carte when I wanted to eat seafood only. They did not serve seafood in the buffet.
After choosing the styles, then we had to choose the types of soup. In the photo below, it was Tom Yum soup. I did not like it much. For me, the original one was much better. I liked clear soup which was very good when eating with tasty sauce.
For the buffet, the food was quite variety and value for money. I love the thinly Sliced Pork and dumpling.
The reason that my mother liked this restaurant so much was its sauces. They have a counter especially for the sauces. The customer could try all of them. I liked the sukiyaki sauce and usually I would put garlic, chilli, and scallion to the sauce.
They also had a recipe for Evaime sauce. I have tried it once, but I did not like it much.
In short, I recommended this restaurant. I loved both buffet and a la carte at this restaurant. I also liked the service which was fast and friendly. Currently for me, this restaurant was the best shabu restaurant in town.
Update: April, 2017
Location & How to get there: Currently this restaurant has 5 branches in Bangkok. I have been to only 2 branches: Siam Paragon (4th floor) and Paradise Park (3rd floor). From my experience, the first branch is much better than the second one in terms of food freshness and also services. You can go to Siam Paragon by taking BTS and getting off at Siam Station. The mall is connected with BTS.
Price: about 350-400 baht per person, depending on what you order.
