A review of Fashion Hotel (Formerly A Hotel), Mong Kok, Hong Kong

On early of December 2016, I have been to Hong Kong for a vacation with my mother. After searching for a hotel to stay for a while, I decided to stay at Fashion Hotel which is located in Mong Kok area. This blog post is aimed to review the hotel. If you are finding a place to stay during a trip in Hong Kong, this hotel could be your choice.

After stepping into the room, I was quite satisfied with the room condition. The room was clean and no smoke smell. The mattress was not too soft and not too hard. I liked the pillows and the blanket which was very comfy.

A flat-screen TV and an electric kettle were provided. Well, I did not use them even once.

The toilet area was separated from the bathroom and the bathroom area was too small. To be precise, the bath area was not that small, but there was no space for clothing.

The washbasin was located in front of the bathroom.

A small wardrobe and refrigerator were provided.

For the services, some staffs were very helpful and friendly, while some were not. For the location, it was perfect. The hotel was very close to the MTR. So, it was convenient. Besides, it was very easy to find local eateries.

When I was there, the staff collected me HKD500 deposit upon check-in. And it must be cash. They did not accept Credit Card. So, be prepare for that.

In short, I like the hotel even if the room was smaller than I imagined. But, this was Hong Kong! So, it was acceptable. The only thing that I did not like was the bathroom that was too small to put down the clothes.

Update: December, 2016

Location: Fashion Hotel (Formerly A Hotel) is located at 123 Tung Choi Street, Mong Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong

How to get there: Take MTR, get off at Mong Kok, and take exit B3. Then, walk only 1 minute.

Price:  For 3 nights, I paid 8,010 Thai baht. So, it was 2670 Thai baht per night (or HKD580). The room I stayed was Deluxe Twin Room and breakfast was not included. And, this price was a promotion price (Early Booking).
