After a long tiring day at work, my colleagues and I decided to find something to eat before going home. We chose Kyo Roll En, a cute dessert cafe that was not far from our office as a place to eat and relax. I walked pass this cafe many times, but I did not have a chance to try it until last week.
The cafe was decorated in Japanese style; I felt comfy and cozy.
The staff handed us the menu which was available in 3 languages: Thai, English, and Japanese. After ordering the desserts, he served us cups of drinking water and little spoons.
Not so long, the desserts that we ordered were served. The first one was Milky Roll Set (165 baht). This set consisted of Cow-print Hokkaido cream roll, Charcoal vanilla soft-cream, ‘Nama’ Chocolate + fresh fruit platter, ‘Kuromitzu’ (black honey) sauce.
I liked this dessert set a lot especially the chocolate. The taste of this dessert was so good. It was not too sweet and it made me feel fresh.
The second one was Yubari Melon (159 baht). This one consisted of Yubari (World’s finest melon), fresh musk melon granita, fresh milk ice cream, mush melon jelly.
This dessert also made me feel fresh. I liked the creamy ice cream and musk melon granita.
Both desserts were well presented and delicious. It might be a little bit pricey comparing to other cafe in town, but the desserts were wonderful. Highly recommended!
