Last week I had a chance to visit Or Tor Kor Market again. The market has changed quite a lot from my last visit. Now, there are more stalls than ever. So, this blog post aims to show you how the market looks like now.
Or Tor Kor is known as a Bangkok’s high-quality fruit and agricultural market. It is a food lover’s paradise. You can expect to find both raw foods, cooked food here.
At this market, a raw foods section is quite big. You will enjoy it, especially if you are a seafood lover.
Fruit section is another popular section. Local knows that they can buy premium fresh fruit here.
And there is an outstanding food court where you can buy delicious ready-to-eat food. I see more and more foreigners at this food court. This market is one of the great places that you can try local street food.
The cooked food section offers a wide range of food. Many locals come to this section and buy food back home.
If you love Thai desserts, don’t miss Kao Pee Nong shop. This sweet shop has been open for more than 30 years and is famous among locals. For me, the taste of desserts from this shop is not too sweet.
Besides, there is a big area for organic products.
If you visit Bangkok and want to try quality local food, this market could be your choice. There are many dishes worth trying. You can eat there and also bring it back home.
