Ari is one of the areas that is well-known for street food in Bangkok. The area is full with both restaurants and cafes. If you visit this city to try its food, I recommend this area. It is not far from Chatuchak Weekend Market; only 2 BTS stops.
I myself rarely go to this area because it is quite far from my home. However, the week before I joined the investment seminar that was held at Ari and had a late lunch at a restaurant named Phan Zen. So, I decide to review it on my blog.
Let’s talk about the name of the restaurant first. Phan means thousand in English and Zen means noodle in English. So, you can expect to have variety of noodle choices here.
I myself love noodles, so I decided to try the dish at this restaurant.
When stepping into the restaurant, I could feel the atmosphere of chic and chill.
I was not there at peak hours, so I could choose the seat I wanted. And, I chose the one near the window.
After looking at the menu, I just realized that this is a creative restaurant where you can mix and match noodle and toppings. They offer many types of noodles and toppings. What you have to do is to choose what you want and create your style of noodle. And, that’s fun!
Well, no worry, if you are not familiar with Thai food or Asian foods and not sure with the selection. They have recommended menu for you.
Here is the result of mix and match by my friends and I.
I myself love the taste of the noodle. They also offered drinks and cakes, but I did not try.
For the price, I think it is reasonable. The other restaurants nearby might be a little bit cheaper. However, this restaurant offers cozy atmosphere and an air con which you will really love it especially on extremely hot days.
All in all, I like this restaurant much and if I visit Ari, I will revisit this restaurant.
