Last week, My mom and I went shopping at Siam Square, a popular place for Thai teenagers, and intended to have lunch at a restaurant there. Well, the queue of that restaurant was too long to wait.
We were very hungry. Then, my mom suggested me to try See Fah Restaurant.
At the sign, the restaurant has started its business since 1936. I am familiar with the Siam Square Branch that I think it has been there for more than 20 years. Unbelievably I had walked pass this restaurant many times since I were a teenagers, but I had never tried it before.
When stepping into the restaurant, it was quite full with the customers. And, the staff told us to go to the second floor which was less crowded.
After looking at the menu for a while, I found out that there were so many dishes that looked delicious and I wanted to try. Well, since we were there only 2 people, I managed to order only 3 dishes.
The first one was an appetizer. It was fresh spring rolls. The taste was ok for me, but not that special.
The second dish was wide rice noodles in gravy with snapper. This dish was served in clay pot that kept the food warm. And, it came with condiment set, so the customers could adjust the taste to suit them. I liked this dish so much. It was full-flavoured and tasty!
The third dish was baked rice with pork spareribs. This dish was also served in clay pot and came with chilli and fish sauce. Same, it was full-flavoured and tasty!
I myself was really impressed with Thai food here. Besides, I also satisfied with the service from staffs. They all were polite and helpful.
For the price, was pretty cheap comparing to the restaurant around. The price for all dishes including drinking water was 440 baht. Well, what I ordered were a la carte. I believe that if I order dishes to eat with rice, the price would definitely higher.
All in all, I really liked this restaurant and would definitely come back. There still were many dishes waiting me to try!
