A review of Sulbing… Korean dessert cafe

Today I am going to recommend you a Korean dessert cafe. This year I have seen Korean dessert cafes in town more and more. If you visit Bangkok this year and explore the malls in Bangkok, I believe that you will see one of them.

So far I myself have a chance to try only one cafe which is Sulbing. I went there during lunch and the cafe was not busy at all. Well, it was quite busy in the evening.Sulbing01 Sulbing02 Sulbing03

The cafe offered Bingsu, toast, smoothies, juice soda, coffee, and so on. Sulbing04
First of all, customers have to order the food at the counter. Then, they would get a pager which will vibrate when the food is ready.

So far, I have tried 5 items:

Real Chocolate Bread (195 baht) and Fresh Strawberry Sulbing (370 baht)Sulbing06 Sulbing07 Sulbing08

Yogurt Tong Tong Melon Sulbing ( 395 baht)Sulbing09

Premium Fresh Strawberry Sulbing (385 baht) , Mango Cheese Sulbing (295 baht).Sulbing10 Sulbing11

The service was OK; nothing to complain about. For the taste, even if I liked chocolate, the fruit ones were far better. I liked strawberry most, then melon. Mango was not great for me because (I guess) it was freezed in the fridge and made it hard to eat. I did love the shaved ice inside the toppings.

Update: July, 2016

Location: Currently Sulbing has several branches in Bangkok. You can check the location of each branch at its website. I have been to Gateway Ekamai branch which is located next to Ekamai BTS Station.

Website: http://sulbing.co.th/https://www.facebook.com/SulbingThailand/

Price: For a dish/a bowl, it costs between 100-400 baht. For me, it was quite pricey comparing to desserts in other cafes in town.

Opening Hours: For Gateway Ekamai Branch, it opens daily from 10.00 to 22.00
