The Market is a new shopping mall located in Ratchaprasong area, one of the shopping distrcts in Bangkok. This mall is located adjacent to Big C Ratchaprasong and opposite to Central World.
The Market is connected with R Walk (Ratchaprasong Skywalk), so it is easy to reach this shopping mall from BTS Skytrain.
Similar to many shopping malls in town, there are shops selling trendy clothing and accessories.
After walking for a while, I found out that there are many restaurants to choose from in this mall. You can find both Thai and international restaurants.
The dessert cafes are also available.
And there is a “street food” zone. Food, beverage, and street food is at ground floor and 3rd floor.
What surprises me is the “Chatuchak Market” zone. As you may know, Chatuchak Market is the biggest outdoor market in Thailand. The market offers almost everything you have ever wanted; a visitor needs a map when visiting the market. The drawback of this market is it opens fully only on weekends and many times it is too hot to walk around the market. Having the “Chatuchak Market” zone allows visitors to visit the market daily and in the A/C building.
The “Chatuchak Market” zone is located at 2nd floor, zone M2.
In the zone, there are shops selling handcrafted products.
Even if the zone is much smaller than the real Chatuchak Market, there are shops that we normally found at Chatuchak Market such as an airbrush body paint shop.
For a traveler, visiting The Market could be your choice especially if you intend to visit Pratunam Area. The Market is not crowded and offers several choices for eating and shopping, so it could be your relax place.
