Wong Tai Sin is one of the most famous temples in Hong Kong and it is popular not only for local but also for tourists. Many Thai people visit this temple when traveling to Hong Kong. Everyone wants to go to this temple because they believe that Wong Tai Sin is able to “make every wish come true upon request“.
I had heard that the temple was always crowded, so I tried to be there in early morning. This was the entrance gate. Similar to Chinese temple in Thailand, guardian lions stood in front of the gate.
I felt very familiar with the Chinese style building and ornament. I saw many worshipers praying there.
Besides, the temple was surrounded by shrines and gardens, so make time to walk around.
In short, this temple is a place where you can see Chinese architecture and the old tradition. If you are familiar with the religious, this place is a must. I personally like visiting Chinese temple; I felt peaceful and joyful when I was there.
