Coca restaurant… a Thai-style hot pot restaurant

If you are an Asian, I am sure you know hot pot. Well, you might call it sukiyaki, streamboat, or shabu shabu. But, if you are Westerner, I am not sure you know it. Anyway, you are going to visit Bangkok, I recommend you to get to know it and try it. It might be your favorite meal. I wrote a post telling you what is hotpot and where you can eat it in Bangkok; you can check it out here.

Today I am going to recommend you a Thai hotpot restaurant chain named Coca. This restaurant does not have only Sukiyaki, but also dim sum and Chinese food.

The restaurant does not have so many branches, but most of them are located in the locations that are easily accessed by public transportation.

What I like at Coca is the taste. The taste of the soup and dipping sauce are delicious. The meat and vegetables are also fresh. They are more delicious than MK, the popular Sukiyaki restaurant chain.

What I do not like at Coca is the price. It is more expensive than other Sukiyaki restaurant chains in Bangkok.

So, I sometimes eat at this restaurant.

Update: December, 2013

Location: I have seen Coca branches at Siam Square (Henri Dunant Road), Central World Shopping Mall, Siam Center, Sukhumvit Soi 39

Price: 300-500/ person
