Eight big shopping malls in a walking distance in Bangkok

As you may know, Bangkok is now a shopping paradise. I already recommended shopping mall named MBK Center to you guys, but Bangkok has a lot more shopping malls in that area. In this post I will recommend you eight more shopping malls that you can walk from MBK Center. All malls are not that different. There are many brand-name shops and restaurants in all malls. So, I will highlight only special things of these malls.

From MBK Center, You can walk through the skywalk to Siam Discovery. It is on the opposite side of MBK Center. Go to this mall, if you want to visit Madame Tussauds, the wax museum. I’ve never been to this museum before, but I found out that if you book online through its website before the day you go, you will get a discount.

From Siam Discovery, there is a bridge on the 4th floor connecting you to Siam Center.

From Siam Center, there is a big open space connecting you to Siam Paragon. This space is quite big and there is always an event on weekend.

Siam Paragon is bigger and newer than Siam Discovery and Siam Center. If you come with children, don’t miss Siam Ocean World. It is at the B1-B2 floor.

The opposite side of Siam Center and Siam Paragon is the area that we call “Siam Square”. It is also a popular shopping area especially for teenagers. In the evening, there is a night market along the pathway.

Then, if you continue walking along the skywalk, you will see Central World. Central World also has an area for ice skating. You can try it there!

Then, if you continue walking along the skywalk, you will see Gaysorn on the left hand side and see Amarin on the right hand side.

If you walk a little bit more, you will see Central Chidlom. This mall might not have so many choices for eating, but you can visit The Mercury Ville. It is the red building with many restaurants which is on the opposite side of Central Chidlom.

And the final one is the newest mall in Bangkok. It is Central Embassy. The mall was named like this because this area was an embassy before. It is more luxurious than other malls.
