What to see around Kamphaeng Phet MRT Station

Chatuchak Weekend Market or JJ Market, a tourist attraction place, is located very close to the station. This market is the biggest outdoor market in Thailand selling almost everything you ever want. Believe me; you need a map to walk around this market. If you intend to go to this market, get off at this station. Do not get off at ‘Chatuchak Park Station’.

JJ Mall and JJ Green are other two shopping places in this area. The first one is an indoor mall, while the second one is an outdoor mall and becomes lively after sunset.

The Marketing Organization for Farmers (MOF) or known as Or Tor Kor Market, a high quality fresh market, is very close to the station. You can expect fresh and clean food here, but bear in mind that the price is not cheap. It is a good market for people who are looking for quality food.

The station is not far from Mo Chit Bus Terminal, a northern and northeastern bus terminal. However, it is too far to walk. Metered-taxi is recommended.

Hope this information helps. Enjoy traveling Bangkok!
