What to see around Lumphini MRT Station

The station is close to South Sathorn Road. If you take exit 2, you will see many high-rise office buildings, embassies, and hotel lining along South Sathorn Road.

If you take exit 1, you will be on Rama 4 Road. And if you walk for 5 minutes, you will reach an area called Bon Kai. The area is full with street stalls and shophouses.

Lumpini Park is the big park in this area. From the station, you can walk to the park by taking exit 3. But the station name is misleading! If you want to go to the park, getting off at Silom station is closer.

Lumpinee Boxing Stadium was located near this station. Well, it was moved to the new place on February 2014, and now it is located on Ram Intra Road. So, if you want to watch the flight, do not come here. You can still see it on the map because the map is not updated yet!
