Explore Bangkok by MRT: Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre

MRT (Metropolitan Rapid Transit) is Bangkok rapid transit system, which is known as subway. Currently MRT provides service only one line (Blue line) which has 18 stations between Hua Lamphong and Bang Sue.

What to see around Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre MRT Station

The area around the station is one of the main business areas in Bangkok. You will see several office buildings and hotels in this area.

The station is located in front of Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), a convention center and exhibition hall hosting several events a year. Stock Exchange of Thailand is located next to Next to QSNCC.

Benjakitti Park is in walking distance from the station. You can jog, ride a bicycle, and row a boat at this park. The park is crowded with both locals and foreigners in the evening.

Khlong Toei Fresh Market, the fresh market offering meat and seafood at very cheap prices, is not far from the station. If you want to go to this market, it is better to get off at this station instead of getting off at Khlong Toei MRT station.
