Explore Bangkok by MRT: Thailand Cultural Centre

MRT (Metropolitan Rapid Transit) is Bangkok rapid transit system, which is known as subway. Currently MRT provides service only one line (Blue line) which has 18 stations between Hua Lamphong and Bang Sue.

Thailand Cultural Centre MRT station is a station that is located on Ratchadaphisek Road, Din Daeng and Huai Khwang District.

What to see around Thailand Cultural Centre MRT Station

Even if the name of the station is Thailand Cultural Centre, it takes around 10-minute walk from the station to Thailand Cultural Centre, a concert or musical performance venue. From the station, some people take a taxi or a motorcycled-taxi to the venue.

The Esplanade, a shopping complex, is located very close to the station. The complex offers you not only restaurants and coffee cafés, but also skate park, ice-skating rink, and musical theatre.

Siam Niramit, a place where you can watch spectacular Thai cultural performances, is around 15-minute walk from the station. If it is a hot day, taking taxi is highly recommended.
