Happy Birthday… This movie is too sad

I recommended you a movie named Me Myself. If you are a fan of Ananda Everingham (or Tan from Me Myself), or Chayanan Manomaisantiphap (or Oom from Me Myself), I would like to recommend you another movie from them named Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday is a story of a photographer named Ten and a travel guide named Pao, and their eternity love. Ten and Pao know each other from the book before they actually meet. Pao always writes down updated information she found while she is on trip in an old travel book, but the book is not hers; it is in the book shop. Ten wanted to buy the book, but he found out that the book is full with notes. He buys it, writes something on the book, and puts it back to the shelf. Finally these two people met by chance, and their relationship gradually develops. They promise to love and stay together.

One day, on Ten’s birthday, the accident happens. Pao becomes seriously ill. Ten does his best in order to look after her. He does it, even if Pao’s parents do not agree. Can he keep the promise?

For me, the first half of the movie is so cute and beautiful, but the second half is too sad and crazy. I like the first half of the movie, but the second half is too boring for me. Comparing to Me Myself, I like that movie more, but Happy Birthday is also not bad.

Here is a full movie with English subtitle on YouTube. Enjoy Watching!
