Hello Stranger… an overseas love story

Hello Stranger is a Thai romantic comedy movie that was released on 2010. The movie was inspired by a Thai travel book named Song Ngao Nai Kao Li which literally means Two Shadows in Korea. In the book, the author, who goes traveling alone in South Korea, met a Thai girl, who also travels alone at a guest house. And then, they two decided to travel together in Korea.

The movie is not exactly the same as the book. It is still a story of Thai man and woman who meet by coincidence while traveling in Korea, but they chose to keep their names as secret from each other. They believe that not knowing each other will set them free. So, how could they love each other? They do not know even the name of each other.

This movie is very popular in Thailand and many people love it. I had read the book before, and I liked it. And after watching the movie I also liked it, but not so much. I love the book version more!

Here is the movie’s International Trailer. Enjoy watching!
