Home: Love, Happiness, Remembrance is a Thai drama movie that was released in 2012. The movie stars Chutavuth Pattarakampol, Kittisak Patomburana, Penpak Sirikul, Ruangsak Loychusak, Siraphan Wattanajinda, Supoj Chancharoen, and so on.
Home tells three love stories in three stages of life. The first one is about two boys in the same school. The older one is a camera boy who is about to graduate and going to the university, while the younger one is a school athlete who is about to move to another school. One night they meet each other in school and have a long conversation until early morning of the next day. The second story is about a middle-aged widow who has to take care of house, workers, and grandchildren after her husband left. With the notes that her husband left, she is bonded to the memory and cannot move on. The third story is about a couple who are about to get married at the bride’s hometown. Before the wedding ceremony, she meets her first love. Then, she gets cold feet.
I did not set any expectations with this movie. Actually I did not even know this movie when it was in the cinemas in Thailand. Well, I just had a chance to watch it last night. I would say this is a good movie. It is not a perfect movie that everyone must watch it, but it is a good one that taught me something. All actors and actresses did really great job even if some of them were very new. At the end, the first story made me kind of shocked, while the third story made me cry; not because it was sad, but it was impressive.
Here is an official movie trailer.
