Central World is a mega-shopping complex located at Ratchaprasong intersection. It is one of the largest shopping centers in the world. The mall offers customers a wide range of products and services. You can expect to find upmarket stores, restaurants and cafes, cinemas, ice skating rink.
Asiatique The Riverfront is an open-air mall, night market, and entertainment venues on the Chao Phraya River bank. It is a great place to chill out in the evening.
If you are a visitor who plans to go to Asiatique The Riverfront from Central World, this post is for you. To do so, you have 3 choices: by taxi, by bus, and by BTS Skytrain plus a boat. My recommendation is to take BTS Skytrain and boat in order to avoid traffic jams. Besides, the view on the boat to Asiatique is also really nice.
From Central World, you can walk to BTS at Siam Station. Then, choose Silom Line. And then, get off at Saphan Taksin BTS station which is the station that connects to Sathorn Pier. You can take Asiatique’s service boat from there. It is free. This service is available only from 16.00-23.30.
Hope the information helps.
