Siam Square is one of the great shopping places in Bangkok. Siam Square itself is full with restaurants and shops selling trendy clothing and besides Siam Square also connects with many shopping malls such as Siam Paragon, Siam Center, MBK Center, and so on.
Don Muang Airport (DMK) was Bangkok’s main airport. It is now not a main airport anymore, but many low cost airline flights depart from Don Muang Airport.
In this post, I will share you how to get from Siam Square to Don Muang Airport (DMK). Siam Square connects with BTS Skytrain, while Don Muang Airport does not connect with any rapid transportation system. So, here is my recommendation.
BTS + Bus
Take BTS Skytrain to Mochit Station which is the closet BTS Station to Don Muang Airport. Then, take special bus number ‘A1’ from Mochit to the airport. The bus runs from 7.30 to 23.30 and takes toll way. It costs 30 baht throughout the route.
BTS + Taxi
Take BTS Skytrain to Mochit Station. From there, instead of waiting for the ‘A1’ bus, you can choose to take taxi.
You can take taxi from Siam Square. The distance between these 2 places is about 25 kilometers, and it could take up to 1 hour to reach the destination depending on the traffic. If you choose this option, I recommend you to go early.
