Silom is one of the main business areas in Bangkok. The area is full with office buildings. The most popular market in this area is Lalai Sap Market. The market is not so far from the BTS Skytrain. During the day you will see many office workers walking around. At night it becomes an entertaining area where you can find several pubs and restaurants. The most poular area is Soi Patpong which is always full with tourists.
In this post, I will share you how to get from Siam Square to Silom. These two areas connect with BTS Skytrain, so it is very easy and convenient to travel between them. Just take BTS Skytrain from Siam Station to Sala Daeng Station. It takes only 2 stops, and then you will reach the destination.
If you come in group of 3 or 4, taking taxi might be cheaper. However, you might get caught in the traffic chaos especially if you travel during peak hours.
Hope this information helps!
