Central World is a mega shopping mall in Bangkok. You can expect to find upmarket stores, restaurants and cafes, cinemas, or even big events here. It is one of the top shopping places for people living in Bangkok.
Central World is located at Ratchaprasong intersection which is in the heart’s of Bangkok shopping area. To get to Central World is very easy. You can either go there by taking a cab or BTS.
As you may know, taking a cab is convenient. Well, it is not recommended. You could stuck in the traffic jams near the mall. My friend and I drove a car to the mall and we stuck in front of the mall about half an hour.
To get to the mall by BTS, you can get off at either Siam Station or Chidlom Station because Central World is located between these two stations. And from these two stations, there is a skywalk connecting you to Central World According to Google Map, from Siam Station, you have to walk about 350 meters, while from Chidlom, you have to walk about 300 meters. So, it is hard to tell the nearest BTS to Central World. For me, it is about the same. It depends on your start station. If you are from Mo Chit Station, I would recommend you to get off at Siam. Or if you are from Asok, I then would recommend you to get off at Chidlom.
