Kub Kao Kub Pla @ Bangkok, Thailand – Review

Kub Kao Kub Pla is a restaurant offering quality Thai food. At this restaurant, you can find A la Carte Thai menu that is eaten with rice and also North-eastern Thai food (E-Sarn food).

I had seen this restaurant for a while, but I just had a chance to try it twice not so long ago.

Both times, I had been to Emporium Branch. I do love the decoration of the restaurant which is simple, cozy, and cute.

Here is the example of the dishes here. In the menu, not only the names of the food are provided in Thai, but they also provide the signal for recommended menu and spicy level.

I ordered A la Carte Thai menu to eat with rice.

Liang Vegetable Fried with Eggs – This dish was nice and the vegetable was fresh. And it was great to eat together with the second dish.

Shrimp in Tamarind Flavor Soup – This dish was spicy and tasty. I myself like tamarind flavor soup and this one was the good one. I loved it!

Salmon Salad – This dish was not special. Since I love Salmon, I love this dish.

Fluffy Omelette with Crab – I could not remember the price, but this dish was expensive. You can easily find omelette in cheaper prices. Well, they made it sooooo good that I wanted to order again.

Stir Fried Squid with Salted Egg York – I was not impressed with this dish. I felt it was oily.

If you want to order rice, they have two choices: normal rice( the white one), and Riceberry rice. And, I chose the latter one.

All in all, the food was tasty and delicious. The service was ok. The price might be a little high, but it was worth it.
