Mongkol coffee is a coffee shop decorated in vintage style with antique furniture. I first knew this shop from one Thai TV program. The owner of this shop is Opal Panisara; she is an actress, MC, singer, and DJ. Anyway, after watching that TV program, I thought it was just another coffee shop. But, I was wrong.
One day my cousin recommended me this coffee shop. She told me that the coffee here was good. She liked it. So, I tried.
Here, you can order not only coffee, but also the desserts. Well, I was on a diet, so I ordered only coffee. I chose “Mongkol Coffee” which was the signature’s drink of the shop (50 baht). The taste of coffee was great, not too sweet and not too bitter. I would say… full-flavored.
As I know, Mongkol coffee has a few branches, but I’ve been to U-Center branch only. I’ve been there twice. It was good to drink coffee in a cute shop. I recommend you to try Mongkol coffee, if you happen to be in the area.
