Maybe because of the very very warm weather in Bangkok, nowadays people love working at coffee shops. The location, atmosphere, free wifi, and plugs to charge laptops or phones are considered because they usually spend more than 2 hours at the coffee shop (some people spend the whole day).
If you are in Bangkok and want to sit and relax in the coffee shop, Quest – Connaisseur Cafe Bangkok can be your choice. It is a cozy coffee shop near BTS. Free wi-fi and plugs are available for customers.
I went to this coffee shop last weekend with my friend. When we stepped inside, we were greeted by coffee smell and the cool air-condition (which is, of course, more important for me). The coffee bar and wall decoration impressed me at first sight. Coffee makers were placed on the bar. This coffee shop offered several kinds of coffee coffee-making methods: Kopi, Cold Drip, Dripper, and Siphon.
You can choose to sit either indoor or outdoor. It was a hot day when I was there. So, everyone preferred to sit inside.
I ordered Quest Special which is a Quest signature’s drink (65 Baht).
My friend ordered Iced Affogato (155 Baht).
For us the taste of coffee was ok, not bad. Well…one thing that I don’t like was the chairs since they were not comfortable for longer sitting. We spent 2 hours there. We left the shop when we finished our coffees. I think this is a place where you can spend time either alone or with your friends.
