Few years ago, I started seeing new community malls more and more in Bangkok. And, Rain Hill is one of them.
Like other community malls in Bangkok, Rain Hill is not that big. This 5-story building offers about 20 restaurants such as Wine Connection, SHUFFLE, HOBS, and Kokoro Japanese restaurant, and 30 health and lifestyle shops such as Boots, Lebs (nail salon), and Finale (hairdressing). Besides, there is an education zone for your kids at the fourth floor. Shop list can be found on its website.
What I like in this community mall is its lush tropical vertical garden architecture. This community mall in the Bangkok business area is like an oasis in the midst of a desert.
Most of the restaurants have both indoor and outdoor areas. Many people choose to sit outside to enjoy the garden view. It is a great place where you can sit and chill with friends and family.
Update: January, 2015
Location/ How to get there: Sukhumvit 47, between Thong Lo and Phrom Phong BTS stations. If you come by BTS, I recommend you to get off at Thong Lo station because it is closer. It would take you around 10-minute walk from Thong Lo station.
Opening Hours: Everyday from 10.00 to 22.00
