Last two week, I went to Chatuchak Weekend Market and had a chance to visit Or Tor Kor Market. I then walked a little further in order to see and take photos of Siam Orchid Center, a meeting place for buying and selling orchids and decorative plants. This post is aimed to share you how Siam Orchid Center is. I am sure it will be useful for an orchid lover and also the one who loves gardening. You can see photos here and decide whether it is worth a visit.
After passing a parking lot, I saw a big modern wooden building which houses several shops and around that area there are several stalls. All of them sell things related to gardening.
Shops and stalls here sell not only orchid, but also other flowers.
I love the variety of colors of flowers.
Artificial flowers & plants can be seen here too.
For the orchid, you can find it in many colors and species.
Besides, as you can expect, there are shops selling garden equipment and tools.
What I love most is cactus.
I love its color, shape, and also size. I plan to have ones because I have heard that it is easy to grow.
For the price, I don’t see the price tag, but I think the plants there are not expensive. It is a place where locals go and buy things they want for their yards.
