The EmQuartier… The newest shopping mall in Bangkok

In Bangkok, new shopping malls opening in town almost every quarter. Last month The EmQuartier, the luxury mall under The Mall Group, has just been officially opened.

The EmQuartier is located just opposite to The Emporium shopping mall and these two malls are connected by a bridge which also connects with BTS skytrain. Both shopping malls are parts of EmDistrict project, the project that aims to be ‘The Epicenter of Sukhumvit’. Another important part of this project is the shopping mall named The EmSphere which is planned to open by 2016.

The EmQuartier has 3 main buildings: The Glass Quartier, The Helix Quartier, and The Waterfall Quartier. If you walk to The EmQuartier from The Emporium, The Helix Quartier is the building on the left.

The Glass Quartier is the building on the right.

And The Waterfall Quartier is located behind these two buildings.

There are bridges connecting these three buildings together, so we can easily walk from one building to the others. When I was there, some bridges have not been finished yet.

The mall is quite big and you might need to look at a map! The directory can be found around. The big map is located at the G floor at The Glass Quartier Building. This map includes The Emporium too.

When you are entering to the mall, you will see many shops that you can also find it at other luxury mall. Well, most of the shops here have bigger space such as DOLCE&GABBANA, ZARA, UNIQLO, and DIESEL.

I myself like the surround advertisement pillar. I have never seen something like this before and I think it is awesome.

The foodhall is located at B1 floor at The Glass Quartier and The Waterfall Quartier. There are plenty of foods available. You can find both Thai and international food here.
