The places you can watch a Muay Thai fight in Bangkok

Thai boxing or Muay Thai is a popular Thai combat sport. Many tourists want to watch it when visiting Thailand. Honestly, I am not a fan of Thai boxing and I have never watched it at the stadium even once. But, I know the places that you can watch Thai boxing in Bangkok. So, if you want to watch Thai boxing, check these places out.

Lumpini Stadium: The stadium was located on Rama 4 Road, close to Lumpini Park. It was moved to the new place on February 2014. Now it is located at Ramintra Road, Anusawaree, Bang Khen District. The fight schedule is Tuesday and Friday from 18.30 to 23.00 and Saturday from 16.00 pm to 20.30 pm and 21.00-00.30. Ticket prices are 1000, 1500, and 2000 baht. Rajadamnern Stadium: The stadium is located on Ratchadamnoen Nok Road. The fight schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 18.30-23.00 and Sunday from 17.00 to 20.00 and 20.30-midnight. Ticket prices are 1000, 1500, and 2000 baht. More information can be found at its website.

Lumpini Stadium and Rajadamnern Stadium are two main stadiums for modern Muay Thai. If you are not a boxing fan and feel that the ticket might be too expensive, there are two places that you can watch a fight for free.

Channel 7 Stadium: The stadium is located behind the old Northern Bus Terminal (Old Mochit), Opposite Chatuchak Park. The fight schedule is Sunday starting at 13.45 and third Wednesday of the month starting at 12.00

MBK Fight Night: You can watch Muay Thai for free in front of MBK Center every Wednesday starting at 18.00. If you have a question, you can ask at its facebook fanpage.
