Today is the last day of August. I am writing this post in order to tell you how the weather in Bangkok, Thailand in August 2015 was. You can use it as a reference when planning a trip to Bangkok.
As you may know, the rainy season in Thailand usually starts around May and August is still in rainy season. In July 2015, the weather was so good; it was not so hot and it rained several days. So, I expected the similar weather in August.
Well, it did not go as I expected. In August 2015, instead of not-so-hot weather and tropical rain, the temperature increased again. It was hot and I did not want to go outside. It was quite strange that the weather in August was hotter than in June and July. However, it was not so hot like in April (the hottest month in Thailand). It rained some days, but not so much.
For the visitors who plan to travel around Bangkok in August, I would suggest you to prepare light-weight clothing and also umbrella or raincoat. While going outside, do not forget to bring drinking water with you. The water is cheap here and can be found in mom and pop shops or any convenience stores around the town.
Enjoy wandering around Bangkok!
