August has just passed. And, this blog post aims to tell you how the weather in Bangkok, Thailand in August 2016 was. I believe that this kind of information is useful for people who are planning to visit Bangkok during August.
As you may know, August is still in rainy season. I expect to see heavy rain and not-so-hot weather. And, sometimes the rains might cause flooding in some areas in Bangkok.
In August 2016, the weather was like I expected. It rained about three times a week and usually it rained in the evening. However, the temperature was still up to 30 degrees Celsius in many days. it slightly dropped when raining.
After raining, the traffic normally becomes worse. If it rains when you wandering around the city, I recommend you to find indoor activities to do instead of being on the road.
The umbrella and raincoat are things that the travelers should bring with when visiting Bangkok during August. Besides, it would be good to have a flexible plan which allows you to travel on the rainy days; It could be traveling to the malls or museums when it rains.
Enjoy traveling Bangkok!
