August has just passed and now I am writing this post to tell you how the weather in Bangkok, Thailand in August 2018 was. Hopefully it helps anyone who plan to visit Bangkok in August to prepare themselves and stuffs.
In Thailand, August is still in rain season. Usually the weather is similar to May, June and July which is not that hot and have rainfall several times a week.
For August 2018, as expected, it rained almost everyday. Sometimes it rained several hours in a row. During the day usually the temperature was around 30 degrees Celsius and dropped a bit when raining.
For a visitor who plan to visit Bangkok in August, please be aware of the traffic which normally become worse when raining. My recommendation is to check the weather forecast daily and adjust your plan when needed. On a rainy day, going to places that can be reached by either BTS or MRT would be a good choice. And on a sunny day, I recommend you to go to outdoor places. For the stuffs, don’t forget to pack an umbrella or a raincoat with you all the time while exploring Bangkok. There are high chances that you have to use it.
Enjoy wandering around Bangkok!
