August 2019 is about to pass. This blog post aims to tell you how the weather in Bangkok, Thailand on August 2019 was. Hopefully, it helps anyone who plans to visit Bangkok in August in the years to come to plan their trips and also prepare stuffs.
If you have researched the weather of Thailand, you may already know that August is still in the rainy season. In Bangkok, it is not that hot anymore and has heavy rainfall several times a week which is similar to May, June, and July. The rain also could cause traffic congestion and inconvenient commuting. Well, it sometimes causes flooding in many areas in Bangkok.
For August 2019, it did not rain much as expected. The temperature was around 30 degrees Celsius during the day, and it dropped a bit at night.
If you plan to be in Bangkok in August, you should have a flexible plan. Visit museums or malls on a rainy day, and visit temples or outdoor markets on a sunny day. Don’t forget to pack both umbrella/ raincoat and sunscreen with you. There are chances to use them. And, please note that the traffic could become worse when it rains. So, plan to use rapid transportation systems such as BTS and MRT when it is possible.
Wishing you a wonderful vacation!
