Today is the last day of October. I am writing this post in order to tell you how the weather in Bangkok, Thailand in October 2015 was. You can use it as a reference to plan and pack your stuffs for a trip, if you plan to visit Bangkok during this time of the year.
As you may know, October is the last month of rainy season in Thailand and the cool season will start from November and end around February. So, I expected not so much rain in the beginning of the month and winter breeze around the end of the month.
And as expected, in October this year it rained hard, but not so much. In the mid of the month, I can feel the winter breeze, but just only few days. Then, it was gone. The weather became hot again. It was not hot like in April, but it was hot enough to make me not going outside during the day.
If you plan to visit Bangkok during October, you should prepare umbrella or raincoat. There is chance to use it. Besides, it is better if you have a flexible itinerary because going to the historical sites on a rainy day is not fun. What you should know is the cool season in Thailand is not that cool. Without a jacket, you can walk on the street. The temperature is usually more than 20 degree Celsius. So, just a light jacket is enough.
