Today is the last day of September and now I am writing this post so as to tell you how the weather in Bangkok, Thailand in September 2017 was. Hopefully this information is useful for anyone who plans to visit Bangkok in September in the years to come. It can be used as a guide to plan a trip and also prepare stuffs.
As you may know, September is still in rainy season. Similar to months before, the weather should not be that hot and the heavy rain could be expected at this time of year.
Well, in September 2017, it was hot. The temperature rose up to more than 30 degree Celsius especially in the afternoon almost everyday in the first half of the month. It rained hard on week 3 and week 4, and on those days the temperature dropped a little bit.
So, for the visitors, I recommend you to bring either umbrella or raincoat with you. You have high chance to use it. There were days that we had strong sunshine in the morning and heavy rain in the afternoon. Beside, having a flexible plan is a good idea. For example, on the rainy days, instead of visiting temples or outdoor markets, you might go to museums or shopping malls. And, choose to visit places that can be reached by either BTS or MRT because on the rainy days the traffic is very jam. Prepare yourself by doing research about the interesting places and how to go there. For the clothing, no need to prepare thick clothing. It is not cold here when raining. The temperature is more than 25 degree Celsius.
Happy traveling Bangkok!
