Where to celebrate Songkran in Bangkok?
The most popular places in Bangkok to celebrate the festival are Khao San and Silom Road. There are many local and tourists, and it is very crowded every year. I have heard that it is too crowded to move yourself around. If you want less crowded places, Siam Square and in front of Central World Shopping mall could be your choice.
And if you want to celebrate at night, RCA (Royal City Avenue), a bar and club street in Ratchada area is the best. Many Thai teenagers and young adults would celebrate here starting from 18.00. The most popular clubs are Route 66 and Slim.
