Where to eat street food in Bangkok

Eating street food is one of the ways to immerse yourself in the culture of the country that you are visiting. It is a part of your travel experience. Bangkok is a city that you can find street food stalls all over the city. And these three places that I am going to recommend are the places that have many food stalls selling variety of Thai local foods. You will enjoy moving from stall to stall to try the foods. Hope you like them.

1. Yaowarat (Chinatown)

Yaowarat is the most well known place for street food. It is popular not only for tourists, but also local. Many times I went there in order to have dinner with friends, and then buy some foods back home. You can find some food stalls during the day, but it is be a lot more at night. This place is popular for fresh seafood, but it is not cheap for some stalls. So, do not forget to ask about the price first.

 2. Sukhumvit Soi 38

For me, this place is like a small version of the street food at Chinatown. The good thing of this street food is it is reachable by BTS Skytrain. You can see the street food stalls from the BTS. Last time I went to this street I saw many tourists eating there. You can see a review of this street food here.

3. Wang Lang Market

Different from the first two places, Wang Lang Market is not a night market. It is open during the day. This market is not that well-known for tourists, but is very well-known for good foods for locals. This is a market for shopping and eating at the same time. The market is located on the banks of Chao Phraya River. You can see a review of this market here.
