Yodpiman River Walk is a new concept mall close to Pak Klong Talad, the biggest fresh flower market in Bangkok. This concept mall offers you a 300-meter walkway on the bank of Chao Phraya River.
Honestly, I cannot differentiate between concept mall and community mall. For me, they are the same. They are places that have modern shops and restaurants and people go there to eat, shop, and chill out together. These days I have seen these kinds of mall more and more in Bangkok.
Last week I went to Pak Klong Talad. From there, I walked to Yodpiman River Walk. This new concept mall has just been opened and some parts of the mall are not finished yet. I think it is not different from any other malls in Bangkok except its location which is on the bank of the river offering great city views.
I went there in the afternoon, but I am sure the view at night there must be gorgeous. This place can be a place for your dinner on the day that you plan to visit historical sites in Bangkok.
Update: March, 2015
Location: Behind Pak Klong Talad and Yodpiman Talad, close to Saphan Phut or the Memorial Bridge.
How to go there: Since it is located on the bank of Chao Phraya River, I recommend you to take Chao Phraya Express Boat and get off the boat at Memorial Bridge Pier, and walk about 5 minutes.
**When I went there, Memorial Bridge Pier closed, but a pier named Pak Klong Talad was open. I am not sure whether it is permanent. Well, after getting off from Pak Klong Talad Pier, Yodpiman River Walk is right in front of you!
